جمعية البيئة الاردنية تمثل الاردن في المنتدى العالمي “صفر نفايات ” في إسطنبول “تركيا “
انجاز-مثلت جمعية البيئة الأردنية الأردن باعتبارها شريكا استراتيجيا في أعمال المنتدى العالمي “صفر نفايات” الذي يُعقد حالياً في مدينة إسطنبول التركية، بمشاركة واسعة من المؤسسات والمنظمات البيئية الدولية المعنية بقضايا الاستدامة وإدارة النفايات.
ومثل الجمعية للمشاركة في اعمال المنادى رئيس مجلس إدارة الجمعية الصحفي علي عزبي فريحات .
ويأتي اختيار الجمعية للمشاركة في المنتدى تقديراً لدورها الريادي في خدمة القضايا البيئية وتعزيز مفاهيم التنمية المستدامة، حيث سبق لها المشاركة في الدورتين الأولى والثانية من المنتدى، تأكيداً لمكانتها وجهودها المتميزة في مجال حماية البيئة والتدوير.
وحضر رئيس مجلس إدارة الجمعية الصحفي فريحات الدعوة الرسمية لحفل عشاء منتدى صفر النفايات برعاية الرئيس التركي رجب اردوغان وعقيلته السيدة امينة اوردغان والموجهة له من الأمانة العامة لمؤسسة “صفر نفايات” .
وأُقيم الحفل برعاية فخامة الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان وعقيلته السيدة الأولى أمينة أردوغان، وبمشاركة عدد من الشخصيات الرسمية وممثلي المؤسسات والمنظمات الدولية المعنية بالشأن البيئي والاستدامة من مختلف دول العالم.
وتأتي هذه الدعوة والمشاركة تقديراً للدور الذي تقوم به جمعية البيئة الأردنية في دعم الجهود البيئية وتعزيز مفاهيم الاقتصاد الدائري وإدارة النفايات، إلى جانب مساهماتها الفاعلة في تنفيذ المبادرات البيئية وبرامج التدوير، بما يعكس المكانة التي تحظى بها الجمعية على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي وحصولها على العديد من الجوائز العربية والدولية المرموقة، من بينها جوائز متخصصة في مجال التدوير وجائزة المنظمة العربية للمسؤولية الاجتماعية من دولة الامارات، تقديراً لمبادراتها وبرامجها البيئية والتنموية وإسهاماتها في نشر الوعي البيئي وخدمة المجتمع.
اضافة الى حصول الجمعية على جوائز بلدية دبي عن فرز وتدوير النفايات من خلال مشروع اعادة التدوير لعام 2002 وجائزة الدولة التقديرية لعام 2003 في مجال البيئة كأفضل منظمة غير حكومية تعمل في هذا المجال وجائزة فورد العالمية التي أقيمت في دبي لعام 2005 عن مسرحية التدوير وجائزة بلدية دبي عن برنامج التدوير وعام 2006 و جائزة فورد العالمية ايضاً عن مشروع شبكة الطالب البيئي وجائزة مجلس وزراء البيئة العرب لعام 2010 عن عملها الطوعي في مجال تدوير النفايات والمساهمة في حماية البيئة وخلق فرص عمل وجائزة المملكة العربية السعودية للإدارة البيئية لعام 2014 – 2015 عن افضل تطبيقات الادارة البيئية في جمعيات النفع العام والجمعيات الاهلية وجائزة المنظمة العربية للمسؤولية الاجتماعية دولة الامارات عام 2015 بالاضافة الى جائزة التميز البيئي .
ويشار ان جمعية البيئة الاردنية شاركت في المنتدى العالمي “صفر نفايات ” الاول والثاني .
