زارت لجنة الزراعة والمياه في مجلس الأعيان برئاسة العين الدكتور عاكف الزعبي، اليوم الثلاثاء، مؤسسة الإقراض الزراعي للاطلاع على مهام عمل المؤسسة وأبرز إنجازاتها.
وقال العين الزعبي بحضور أعضاء اللجنة إن مؤسسة الإقراض الزراعي تُعد أحد أذرع الدولة الرئيسة في دعم وتطوير القطاع الزراعي، لما تقدمه من تسهيلات تمويلية للمزارعين ومشاريع زراعية تسهم في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة وتعزيز الأمن الغذائي الوطني ، خاصة خلال ١٥عاما الماضية.
وأكد الزعبي أهمية الدور الذي تلعبه المؤسسة في تمكين المزارعين وتوفير الدعم اللازم لهم، مشيرا لضرورة توسيع قاعدة المستفيدين من خدماتها، وضرورة تطوير برامج التمويل لتتلاءم مع احتياجات القطاع الزراعي ومتغيراته.
وأشار لضرورة التركيز على مشاريع التمويل الريفي، سيما تمكين المرأة والشباب المتعطلين عن العمل، باعتبار أن القطاع الزراعي قطاع تنموي، داعيا لضرورة تطبيق مبدأ التخطيط الاستراتيجي الذي يسهم بالارتقاء بمستوى أداء المؤسسة والقطاع الزراعي وتحسين قدرته على الاستمرار والتكيف مع الظروف المحيطة.
بدوره، قال مدير عام المؤسسة المهندس محمد الدوجان، بحضور عدد من مساعديه، إن المؤسسة تسعى إلى التميز في تمويل المشاريع الزراعية والريفية لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة، من خلال دعم المزارعين وتوفير التمويل اللازم لزيادة الإنتاج وتحسينه ورفع المستوى المعيشي لهم.
واستعرض الدور الحيوي للمؤسسة في دعم المزارعين وتعزيز التنمية المستدامة وتحقيق الأمن الغذائي الوطني، لافتا لاستفاده نحو 350 ألف مزارع من القروض التي تمنحها المؤسسة، مؤكدا أن عمل المؤسسة يتماشى مع رؤية التحديث الاقتصادي والإداري للدولة، باعتبار التمويل أداة للتغيير وتطوير الموارد.
وأشار إلى البرامج الإقراضية المبتكرة التي تشجع الزراعة الحديثة والتصنيع الغذائي وتخفّض كلف الإنتاج، إلى جانب القروض الريفية الموجهة لدعم المرأة والشباب، مبينا أبرز التحديات التي تواجه المؤسسة، وفي مقدمتها محدودية الموارد المالية وتأثير التغيرات المناخية على الإنتاج الزراعي.
من جهتهم، أكد أعضاء اللجنة الأعيان أن الإقراض الزراعي تعد رافعة للقطاع وتسهم بتحقيق الأمن الغذائي، مؤكدين ضرورة دعم الجهود الوطنية الرامية لتعزيز مكانة الزراعة كرافعة أساسية للاقتصاد الوطني وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة.
وأشادوا بالدور الذي تقوم به المؤسسة في دعم المزارعين وتحسين المستوى المعيشي لهم من خلال تمويل المشاريع الزراعية والريفية لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة، إضافة لجهودها في دعم الزراعة وتنميتها وتطويرها.
Members of the Agriculture and Water Committee in the Council of Dignitars” visit the Agricultural credit Corporation and see its most prominent achievements
Amman, September 16 – Media and Communication – The Agriculture and Water Committee of the Council of Elders, headed by Al Ain, Dr. Akef Al-Zoubi, visited the Agricultural credit corporation on Tuesday to review the tasks of the Foundation’s work and the most prominent achievements.
Al Ain Al-Zoubi, in the presence of the members of the committee, said that the Agricultural credit Corporation is one of the main arms of the country in supporting and developing the agricultural sector, because it provides financing facilities to farmers and agricultural projects that contribute to achieving sustainable development and enhancing national food security, especially during the past 15 years.
Al-Zoubi stressed the importance of the role played by the Foundation in empowering farmers and providing them with the necessary support, pointing to the need to expand the base of beneficiaries of its services, and the need to develop financing programs to suit the needs of the agricultural sector and its variables.
He pointed to the need to focus on rural financing projects, especially the empowerment of unemployed women and youth, considering that the agricultural sector is a development sector, calling for the need to apply the principle of strategic planning, which contributes to improving the level of performance of the institution and the agricultural sector and improving its ability to continue and adapt to the surrounding conditions.
In turn, the Director General of the corporation , Eng. Mohammed Al-Dojan, in the presence of a number of his assistants, said that the Foundation seeks excellence in financing agricultural and rural projects to achieve sustainable development, by supporting farmers and providing the necessary financing to increase and improve production and raise their living standards.
He reviewed the vital role of the Foundation in supporting farmers, promoting sustainable development and achieving national food security, pointing out that about 350,000 farmers benefited from the loans granted by the corporations , stressing that the corporation ‘s work is in line with the vision of economic and administrative modernization of the state, considering financing as a tool for change and resource development.
He referred to innovative lending programs that encourage modern agriculture and food processing and reduce the cost of production, in addition to rural loans aimed at supporting women and youth, indicating the most prominent challenges facing the corporation , foremost of which are limited financial resources and the impact of climate change on agricultural production.
For their part, the members of the committee stressed that agricultural credit corporation is a lever for the sector and contributes to achieving food security, stressing the need to support national efforts aimed at enhancing the status of agriculture as a key lever for the national economy and achieving sustainable development.
They praised the role played by the corporate in supporting farmers and improving their living standards by financing agricultural and rural projects to achieve sustainable development, in addition to its efforts in supporting agriculture, its growth and development.
