إنجاز- قام وفد من الاتحاد النوعي للنحالين الأردنيين، يوم أمس الأربعاء الموافق 12 آب/أغسطس 2026، بزيارة إلى السفارة الأسترالية في عمّان، حيث التقى سعادة السفيرة الأسترالية السيدة باولا غانلي، بحضور السيدة رانيا عبد الدايم، مسؤولة قسم الأبحاث والمساعدات والإعلام في السفارة الأسترالية، وذلك في إطار تعزيز التواصل وبحث آفاق التعاون المشترك ودعم قطاع تربية النحل والنحالين في الأردن.
وضم وفد الاتحاد رئيس الاتحاد المهندس معاذ كظّم، ومستشار الاتحاد الدكتور فاضل الزعبي، وعضو الهيئة الإدارية الدكتور أحمد المومني، ورئيسة لجنة المرأة في الاتحاد المهندسة لما بدران.
وأكد رئيس الاتحاد المهندس معاذ كظّم أهمية تعزيز الشراكات الدولية والاستفادة من الخبرات والتجارب العالمية في تطوير قطاع تربية النحل، مشيرًا إلى حرص الاتحاد على بناء علاقات مؤسسية فاعلة مع الجهات الدولية، وفتح مجالات عملية للتعاون والدعم بما يخدم النحالين الأردنيين، ويسهم في تطوير القطاع ورفع قدرته التنافسية وتعزيز حضوره على المستوى الدولي.
كما استعرض المهندس كظّم واقع قطاع تربية النحل في الأردن وما يتميز به من مقومات وفرص واعدة، إلى جانب فرص الاستثمار في القطاع، والدور الذي يقوم به الاتحاد في دعم النحالين وتطوير قدراتهم، وتعزيز جودة منتجات النحل وفتح آفاق جديدة أمام القطاع.
من جانبها، رحبت سعادة السفيرة باولا غانلي بوفد الاتحاد، وأكدت أهمية استمرار التواصل وبحث مجالات التعاون وتبادل الخبرات، بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة ويدعم قطاع تربية النحل. وأشادت بما شاهدته خلال زيارتها إلى مهرجان العسل الأردني الثاني، وما أتاحه المهرجان من فرصة للتعرف عن قرب على النحالين الأردنيين والتواصل معهم والاطلاع على منتجاتهم وتجاربهم، مؤكدةً أن المهرجان عكس قوة قطاع تربية النحل في الأردن وتنوعه، والمستوى المتميز الذي تتمتع به منتجات النحل، ولا سيما جودة العسل الأردني. كما أبدت اهتمامًا بالتعرف بصورة أوسع على واقع القطاع وما يمتلكه من إمكانات وفرص، وبحث مجالات التعاون الممكنة لدعم النحالين وتطوير قطاع تربية النحل في الأردن.
وفي هذا السياق، أوضحت السيدة رانيا عبد الدايم أن السفارة الأسترالية تطرح كل عام برنامجًا لدعم المؤسسات غير الربحية، داعيةً الاتحاد النوعي للنحالين الأردنيين إلى التقدم والاستفادة من هذا البرنامج، بما يمكن أن يسهم في تنفيذ مبادرات ومشاريع تخدم قطاع تربية النحل والنحالين في الأردن.
كما بحث الجانبان فرص تبادل الخبرات والمعارف والاستفادة من التجارب الأسترالية في مجال تربية النحل، إلى جانب أوجه الدعم الممكنة للنحالين الأردنيين، بما يسهم في تطوير الممارسات الفنية والإنتاجية وتعزيز استدامة قطاع تربية النحل ومنتجاته.
وخلال اللقاء، استعرض مستشار الاتحاد الدكتور فاضل الزعبي أبرز إنجازات الاتحاد ودوره في دعم قطاع النحل والتعريف بأهميته لدى الجهات الرسمية والدبلوماسية، إلى جانب عدد من المشاريع والمبادرات التي ينفذها الاتحاد بالتعاون مع مؤسسات وطنية، وعن ما سيتم من خلال مشروع مع مؤسسة نجمة، مؤكدًا أهمية هذه الشراكات في دعم النحالين وتطوير القطاع وخدمة المجتمعات المحلية.
وتطرق كلا من الدكتور المومني والمهندسة بدران إلى عدد من القضايا المرتبطة بقطاع النحل، موضحين طبيعة عمل النحالين وآلية عمل القطاع والتحديات والصعوبات التي يواجهونها، إلى جانب أبرز الاحتياجات الفنية والإنتاجية التي يتطلبها تطوير القطاع وتحسين ظروف عمل النحالين.
وفي إطار تعزيز التعاون الدولي، وجّه رئيس الاتحاد دعوة إلى السفارة الأسترالية للمشاركة في أعمال المؤتمر الدولي السادس عشر لاتحاد النحالين العرب، المقرر عقده في عمّان خلال الفترة من 1 إلى 4 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2026، مع بحث إمكانية مشاركة وفد من النحالين الأستراليين في فعاليات المؤتمر، بما يتيح تبادل الخبرات والتجارب وفتح آفاق جديدة للتعاون بين النحالين الأردنيين والأستراليين والعرب.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة في أعقاب حضور سعادة السفيرة بولا غانلي لمهرجان العسل الأردني الثاني، الذي نظمه الاتحاد النوعي للنحالين الأردنيين، والذي شكّل منصة مهمة للتعريف بقطاع النحل الأردني وما يمتلكه من إمكانات وفرص، إلى جانب بناء جسور التواصل مع البعثات الدبلوماسية والجهات الدولية.
ويؤكد الاتحاد أن الانفتاح على المؤسسات والجهات الدولية وتعزيز حضوره من خلال الفعاليات الوطنية يمثل أحد المخرجات الإيجابية لمهرجان العسل الأردني الثاني، حيث أسهم المهرجان في تعزيز الصورة الإيجابية لقطاع النحل الأردني، وفتح قنوات جديدة للتواصل والتعاون، كان من أبرز نتائجها هذه الزيارة وبحث مجالات التعاون والدعم للنحالين.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة ضمن جهود الاتحاد النوعي للنحالين الأردنيين لتوسيع شبكة علاقاته الدولية، وبناء شراكات فاعلة مع الجهات والمؤسسات الدولية، وتحويل الفعاليات التي ينظمها إلى منصات حقيقية للتواصل والتعاون، وفتح آفاق جديدة أمام قطاع النحل والنحالين في الأردن.
الاتحاد النوعي للنحالين الأردنيين
A delegation from the Jordanian Beekeepers Union visited the Australian Embassy in Amman on Wednesday, 12 August 2026, where they met with Her Excellency Ms. Paula Ganly Ambassador of Australia to Jordan, in the presence of Ms. Rania Abdel Dayem, Research, Aid and Media Officer at the Australian Embassy. The visit aimed to strengthen communication and explore avenues for cooperation and support for the beekeeping sector and beekeepers in Jordan.
The Union delegation included Eng. Moath Kutham, President of the Jordanian Beekeepers Union; Dr. Fadel Al-Zoubi, Union Consultant; Dr. Ahmad Al-Momani, Member of the Board of Directors; and Eng. Lama Badran, Chairperson of the Union’s Women’s Committee.
Eng. Moath Kutham emphasized the importance of strengthening international partnerships and benefiting from global expertise and experiences in developing the beekeeping sector. He highlighted the Union’s commitment to establishing effective institutional relations with international organizations and opening practical avenues for cooperation and support that serve Jordanian beekeepers, contribute to the development of the sector, enhance its competitiveness, and strengthen its international presence.
Eng. Kutham also provided an overview of the beekeeping sector in Jordan, highlighting its distinctive potential and promising opportunities, as well as investment opportunities within the sector. He outlined the Union’s role in supporting beekeepers, developing their capacities, improving the quality of bee products, and creating new opportunities for the sector.
Her Excellency Ambassador Paula Ganly welcomed the Union delegation and emphasized the importance of maintaining communication and exploring areas of cooperation and knowledge exchange in ways that serve mutual interests and support the beekeeping sector. She praised her experience during her visit to the Second Jordan Honey Festival, which provided an opportunity to meet Jordanian beekeepers, learn more about their products and experiences, and gain first-hand insight into the sector. She noted that the festival reflected the strength and diversity of Jordan’s beekeeping sector and the high quality of its bee products, particularly Jordanian honey.
The Ambassador also expressed her interest in gaining a broader understanding of the current state of the sector, its potential and opportunities, and exploring possible areas of cooperation to support beekeepers and further develop the beekeeping sector in Jordan.
In this context, Ms. Rania Abdel Dayem explained that the Australian Embassy launches a support programme for non-profit organizations at the end of each year. She invited the Jordanian Beekeepers Union to apply and benefit from the programme, which could contribute to implementing initiatives and projects serving the beekeeping sector and Jordanian beekeepers.
The two sides also discussed opportunities for exchanging expertise and knowledge and benefiting from Australian experiences in beekeeping, as well as potential forms of support for Jordanian beekeepers. Such cooperation could contribute to improving technical and production practices and enhancing the sustainability of the beekeeping sector and its products.
During the meeting, Dr. Fadel Al-Zoubi presented an overview of the Union’s key achievements and its role in supporting the beekeeping sector and promoting its importance among governmental and diplomatic institutions. He also highlighted a number of projects and initiatives implemented by the Union in cooperation with national institutions, as well as upcoming activities to be implemented through a project with Najma Foundation. He stressed the importance of such partnerships in supporting beekeepers, developing the sector, and serving local communities.
Dr. Ahmad Al-Momani and Eng. Lama Badran addressed a number of issues related to the beekeeping sector, explaining the nature of beekeepers’ work, how the sector operates, and the challenges and difficulties they face. They also highlighted key technical and production needs required to develop the sector and improve the working conditions of beekeepers.
As part of efforts to strengthen international cooperation, the Union invited the Australian Embassy to participate in the 16th International Conference of the Arab Beekeepers Union, scheduled to be held in Amman from 1 to 4 November 2026. Discussions also explored the possibility of an Australian beekeepers’ delegation participating in the conference, providing an opportunity to exchange expertise and experiences and open new avenues for cooperation among Jordanian, Australian, and Arab beekeepers.
The visit followed Her Excellency Ambassador Paula Ganly’s attendance at the Second Jordan Honey Festival, organized by the Jordanian Beekeepers Union. The festival served as an important platform for showcasing Jordan’s beekeeping sector and its potential and opportunities, while also building bridges of communication with diplomatic missions and international organizations.
The Union emphasized that openness to international institutions and strengthening its international presence through national events represent important positive outcomes of the Second Jordan Honey Festival. The festival contributed to enhancing the positive image of Jordan’s beekeeping sector and opening new channels for communication and cooperation, with this visit and discussions on opportunities for cooperation and support for beekeepers being among its notable outcomes.
This visit forms part of the Jordanian Beekeepers Union’s ongoing efforts to expand its international network, build effective partnerships with international organizations and institutions, transform the events it organizes into genuine platforms for communication and cooperation, and open new horizons for the beekeeping sector and beekeepers in Jordan.
